“A LABOUR OF LOVE” AT LIOP SHOW 24-26
Not that I ever need an excuse to go back to London, but heading back because I was featured in the latest LIoP Show was the highlight of my summer.
The exhibition features the twenty best projects produced by students that graduated between 2024 and 2026.
I started my journey at the London Institute of Photography at the end of 2023 and worked through all the courses and modules over ten months. In this timeframe, I got to meet and learn from amazing photographers. From documentary, to portrait and advertising, every module stole a piece of my heart and allowed me to slowly build my body of work, while also choosing the direction I wanted to grow into as a photographer.
The project A labour of love has been a huge part of my photographic development, and seeing it hanging on a wall at the Dray Walk Gallery in London was probably one of my proudest moments ever.
I will forever be grateful to myself for deciding to jump into photography even when I felt too old and too “busy“ to follow a new path in life.
Onto the next big thing ✨
