halona - published in real living
One of my personal projects was recently featured in an editorial for Real Living, an international lifestyle magazine on contemporary design and high-end interiors.
The spread profiles Babette Leertouwer, the founder of Halona, whose work exists at the intersection of traditional craft and environmental activism. Based in her Dutch atelier, Babette salvages local sheep wool (a material often treated as a waste product) and transforms it into sophisticated textile art through the labor-intensive process of wet felting.
These images capture the tactile nature of her circular process, highlighting the deep connection between the raw material, the Dutch landscape, and the "slow" philosophy that defines her brand.
Real Living is a premier international design and lifestyle publication celebrated for its curated look at contemporary interiors and cutting-edge styling. It serves as a benchmark for modern aesthetics, featuring the work of leading architects, designers, and creatives.
